Snippets is a public source code repository. Easily build up your personal collection of code snippets, categorize them with tags / keywords, and share them with the world (or not, you can keep them private!)

Change Root user password (See related posts) 



mysql -h localhost -u root
mysql> USE mysql;
mysql> UPDATE user SET Password=PASSWORD('root-pwd') WHERE user='root';
mysql> FLUSH PRIVILEGES;
mysql> EXIT
to mysql password root change by minofare on Thu Jan 03 17:32:21 +0000 2008
