Here shall be text pertaining to my good and bad websites research.

WEBSITE 1.
Google search "Cat Collection"
>> Website selected >> http://www.poshpetglamourboutique.com/index.cfm/fa/categories.main/parentcat/17600

Site Report=>

Background= Predominantly a pale pink along with a purple menu bar at the side.
The pink is fitting with their posh glamour pets theme; however I think may have been better with a bit less pink -- and some white areas left in. Its just too girly looking. Males who have pampered pets might not feel too comfortable here.

Load Time= OK, acceptable.

Popups/Additional required downloads= None.

General Color Appearance= The pink and purple look okay together but I am feeling like I am on a little girl's webpage, just too much piiiiink.

Text is readable= YES, this is very fine.

Images= This is a shopping website. You can order from the first loaded page, using text entry boxes and a form I expect. Catalog images can be resized (enlarged) also from this first loaded page..
Primary Site Navigation= Uses the purple menu at left. is OK.
Presence of a "Site Index/Map" or "Complex (but easy to follow) Menu design"=

The menu bar at left side seems very thorough.
Can find items by type category, and also, lower in the menu, by festive seasons.
But err, there is 3x links pages??

I notice some buttons (associated with immediate purchasing mentioned above) say different things. For items that perhaps have sizes to choose from(etc), the button says "View Options", where as others just say "Add to Cart"

BAD THINGS =
Pink and purple becomes too much after a while. (turning me girly!!)
The image resizer images appear kind of cheap looking.
First Paragraph could use a few carriage returns.
Ugly ads by google.

GOOD THINGS =

----------
Hmm this is a bit hard.
I need some criteria areas to fill out.
I will set those up now.
Ok lets see.

Judgeable facets of a website visitation experience=

1. Background image (usually first to load up).
2. Time taken for site to fully load.
3. Site appearance after first loading - colors not bright, text readable.
4. Presence of images to support texts.
5. If is a store, it has a working cart.
6. Site has a "site index" or a truly awesome menu design that they dont need a site index.
7.

Shops have working carts=
They provide prices for items, or detail where such is obtained=
Clear shipping information, both covering countries they will send to, and stating which countries they WONT send to. Insurance if offered, and how much that would be.
